Meet Dr. Amanda McMullen (Apple Valley, MN)

Dr. Amanda McMullen was born and raised in North Dakota. She attended North Dakota State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry degree at Pacific University. After graduation, Dr. McMullen then moved to the Twin Cities Metro and worked for a year before moving and working in Akron, Ohio for three and a half years. In the spring of 2023, Dr. McMullen moved back to the Twin Cities Metro and started her career at Apple Valley Eye Care!

Dr. McMullen is married and has a pet cat and dog. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, trying new restaurants/breweries, and spending time with her friends and family.

If it weren’t for the high tech instrumentation and ability to take a picture of my retina without d... ilation, they never would have caught my retinal tear. I was going to deny the dilation because I had to drive and work. Luckily they didn’t need it!
