Meet Dr. Kaitlyn Marshall (Apple Valley, MN)

Dr. Kaitlyn Marshall grew up in Lakeville and graduated from Apple Valley High School. Growing up, she was a patient at Apple Valley Eyecare and shadowed Dr. Wellik since she had always wanted to be an eye doctor. She then went on to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and graduated with a biology major and chemistry minor. After she attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland Oregon where she received her Doctorate of Optometry degree. Before joining Apple Valley Eyecare, Dr. Kaitlyn practiced in western Minnesota where she gained valuable experience in comprehensive eyecare. Dr. Kaitlyn and her husband decided to move closer to family and joined Apple Valley Eyecare in May of 2023.

Dr. Kaitlyn and her husband welcomed a baby girl in June of 2023. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing board/card games, and kayaking.

If it weren’t for the high tech instrumentation and ability to take a picture of my retina without d... ilation, they never would have caught my retinal tear. I was going to deny the dilation because I had to drive and work. Luckily they didn’t need it!
